## Long Island

The Atlantic stretches near New York. Long Island is a very popular place for summer vacation. Long Island is an island in the state of New York, its western part falls under the city of New York City. The island stretches 118 miles to the east, being the longest and largest in the United States. Buffolk County is an area in the eastern part of Long Island. New York cream has its "cottages" here, especially around the towns of East Hampton and South Hampton.

At the very end we find the Montauk Point Lighthouse. There is only one ordinary road leading to the eastern part of the island, so there are several kilometers of columns in both directions, especially on weekends.

## Montauk Point Lighthouse

Very nice lighthouse. It is the 4th oldest still operating lighthouse in the USA. It was built in 1796 and its visibility is up to 31 kilometers, a flash of light every 5 seconds. If you want to see the lighthouse in detail, you can get to a small museum in it for $ 9 per person and also climb the tower and enjoy the beautiful view of the cliffs. The lighthouse has one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States.

According to a survey from previous years, it is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches in America. Coopers Beach was even first in this ranking in 2010 and Main Beach in 2013.
