Fly to London for the weekend, you won't be disappointed
The capital of Great Britain or the United Kingdom. It is one of the world’s largest shopping malls, where dozens of fashion brands meet. A huge cosmopolitan metropolis. Dozens of nationalities live here side by side, not only from the former British Empire, but literally from all over the world.
What not to miss in London
London’s most famous landmarks and sights include: Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. Gentlemen will appreciate the Piccadilly district, which used to be full of men’s clubs, cigar shops and barbershops. If you want to take a picture with a celebrity, be sure to visit Museum Madame Tussaud. Where you can throw a selfie with Leonard DiCaprio, for example.
I recommend taking a doubledecker, the oldest tube in the world and the London Eye, which is guaranteed to interest you. You can relax in one of the many parks.
It is also worth mentioning the Queen’s residence Windsor and the legendary Winchester with the cathedral, where the writer Jane Austen is buried. Don’t miss the mystical Stonehenge.
The castle in Windsor in the early 90’s burned down the castle about half, most of the valuable things were fortunately saved, the queen decided to pay for the repair of the castle for a torn entrance fee from tours, including Buckingham Palace. That’s why you can see Buckingham Palace at the turn of August and September when the Queen heads for the summer silo.
For Harry Potter fans
I also recommend looking at the locations of the famous Harry Potter series, which is located at the Warner Bros. Studio in Leavesdean. You can take a walk around the Hogwarts Hall, Dumbledore’s Office, Příčná Street or stop by the magic wand shop.
London is a wonderful city worth visiting for at least a weekend. Get and enjoy spring in this beautiful country.
