The United States plans to ease restrictions on the travel of foreigners when they are fully vaccinated, a policy that has had a limited number of visitors from the UK, the European Union and other countries in Asia, South America and Africa.

Foreign nationals will be required to present proof of vaccination before boarding the aircraft, as well as proof of a negative PCR test for Covid, which will not be older than 72 hours before departure. U.S. citizens who are not vaccinated will need to be tested before and after the flight.

## The new US policy will enter into force in early November 2021

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the pending new rules came after review between agency working groups and other countries. The Centers for Disease Control will also require airlines to collect information from international passengers.
Under current policy, only US citizens, their immediate families, Green Card holders and people with disabilities from national interests can travel to countries if they have been in Britain or the EU in the previous 14 days. In addition to the United Kingdom and European countries, the restrictions applied to China, Iran, Brazil, South Africa and India.
